Destruction

I've been walking on the treadmill in the mornings and the kids play in the basement near me. Today, the boys completely destroyed the place in 22 minutes. 

Gabe came down and said, "Apple juice all over Mommy!"  There was a gallon of orange juice covering every inch of the kitchen. 

Before going upstairs to see the orange juice, I had to walk through this...

The boys dumped out every piece to every toy that we own. It was ridiculous. I had to bathe them because their clothes and shoes were soaked in orange juice. 

I then sat them down to tell then they'd been naughty. They started looking at one another and laughing hysterically. I was so irritated!!

I cleaned it all up and changed their clothes and left to pick up Ella from preschool. A very nonproductive morning but they eventually gave me lots of hugs and kisses and said, "I so sowwy Mommy." They were quickly forgiven!

Easter At Trinity

The boys and Ella celebrated Easter at their preschool on Friday. The boys made a craft and went on an egg hunt. They had no idea what was going on but they enjoyed it. 

During the egg hunt Gabe got distracted by the blocks and started cleaning them up, haha. 

Ella also had a nice morning celebrating Easter in her class. I also had her first school conference in which the teachers told me she's wonderful, sweet, kind, and progressing beautifully. 

As I type this it's snowing. Hoping for spring to arrive soon!! 

 
 
 
 

 

Monday

St. Patty's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Lilly was laying low today and didn't really get dressed. She's been trying to fight off a cough/asthma for 3 weeks, poor kid. The other 3 were dressed in their green attire to show their St. Patty's spirit. 

Ella enjoyed a friend's birthday party and we hung around the house the rest of the weekend letting everyone recover from a week of illness. 

Today was the day Andy proposed to me 9 years ago! I returned home from my EMT class to find my apartment covered in green balloons and candles and Andy waiting for me inside. It was beautiful and I was totally surprised. He always acknowledges this day and this year he gave me a clover charm for my Pandora bracelet. So sweet!!

 

 

Beast

Where's Ella?

Ella? Ella!

The dog likes to sit on us. Poor Ella. All I heard was, "Umm, Mommy?"
 

 

Curly

Lilly asked me to put "soft curlers" in her hair because a friend did it and she wanted to do the same. I borrowed foam curlers from Jackie and set to work last night curling her whole head. 

I'm laughing writing this. 

God bless her, she slept all night in her curlers...

This morning Lilly stumbled out of bed and excitedly asked me to take out the curlers. After I took out the first one I was worried. Mostly I was worried about Lilly's reaction. The best part was that Andy was still home and the look on his face was so funny I'm laughing again. 

I was proud of my spiral rolling!!

That last picture kills me. She had been sobbing and stopped long enough to fake a smile. I was hysterically laughing which is awful but I just couldn't believe my eyes!! Clearly I haven't a clue about foam curler rolling!! 

Poor baby girl. I wet it and the curls fell and all was right with the world again. I did get a good laugh though...
