Every day I tell myself I'm going to blog. Then the day begins and rolls along busily until nighttime when I'm too tired to move.
Swim team ended and at first I didn't know what to do and then I began to look outside the box and realize I can take my kids out alone (it's always scared me ever since we added the twins) and there are many options! I try to find one fun thing to do with the kids each day so we're going out and about and they're having some fun. This weekend we went to a craft show in a neighboring town.

...and Ella loved her horse. Luke got very upset that Mommy wasn't willing to pay ($4) for him and Gabe so the lady was nice enough to paint a small heart on their hands. They were super happy.
But there's nothing better than hammering a bunch of real nails with real hammers while being spotted by Daddy.
Today there was a free showing of Happy Feet at our local movie theater. I was super nervous and prepared Lilly that we would likely be there for only 10 minutes. The boys surprised me and lasted an hour! Lilly and Ella didn't move but Luke started to get a little antsy so we headed out. From there we went to a playground for an hour and then home for lunch and naps. And I started my first day of exercise. Yikes.
I can't believe summer is coming to an end and soon my life will consist of driving kids to school and picking up, homework and early bedtimes. For now I'm savoring our last couple of weeks together.
