Ella

I can't believe my "baby" Ella is 3.5 years old.  She has opinions and conversations.  How is that even possible!?

Ella has a sweet sweet soul.  She is pretty quiet, very thoughtful, and enjoys time alone.

 I love this girl.
I can't believe she'll be in preschool next year.  I don't know what I'll do without my sidekick.
Happy Friday.

First Haircut

Oliver had his first haircut!

BEFORE:

Crystal from a mobile groomer came highly recommended.  We loved the service and she was done in 1.5 hours instead of the 5/6 that PetSmart predicted!
Not to mention he was just in our driveway. :)

Bye baby boy!  He was nervous.
This killed me... Look at him staring at me through the window like I'm abandoning him!

With the exception of the poodle cut on top of his head, I love love love his new do.  He feels like a chenille blanket!
Hopefully he'll be cooler with his shorter cut.  He's such a good boy!  Crystal said she wanted to take him home!!

Rain

Today in the pouring sideways rain, I lugged the kids to WalMart to look for rain boots and rain coats.  I never wanted to fork out the money for 2 pairs of rain boots and 2 rain coats but we're on day 3 of rain and the boys have been going through 3+ outfits a day and have soaked their only pairs of shoes.  Apparently boys don't mind getting soaked, standing in sideways rain, sitting in huge puddles with socks, shoes, and pants on, etc.  I was uninformed.

Unfortunately the boots are too big for Gabe and there were no rain coats but they got cool pirate umbrellas and Luke loves his monkey boots.  Gabe isn't sure about puddles anyway though with a little coaxing the other day Luke was able to convince him that running through puddles in his shoes would really be fun...
I'm sure now that I bought umbrellas the rain will stop and the sun will come out!

Woot Woot!!!

My mommy is back up and running!!!
She successfully installed a new (and much better) hard drive in her laptop and now she is back in business!  She said she plans to whip out that camera tomorrow and get some updated pictures of what's going on in our life.  I can't wait.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day.
My mommy enjoyed a day of laying low with our family.
XOXO

Soon...

This afternoon I hope to fix my computer problems for once and for all.  I am installing a new hard drive myself and then taking my laptop to Apple to have them install a new operating system.  Let's just hope I purchased the right hard drive online!?  I really don't have a clue as to what I'm doing.

After this is installed I can upload pictures once more and can resume blogging.  Woo hoo!

Here's a picture I took on my phone yesterday.  Luke had just woken up from sleeping 16 hours uninterrupted!!  He went to bed at 6:30 p.m. and woke at 11 a.m. the next day.  My boy loves to sleep.  He was watching trash trucks; his favorite pastime.
Here's to happy hard driving!

Aquarium

My girlfriend Janet and I met at the Adventure Aquarium on Tuesday.  Janet has a membership and took us as her guests!  We had an awesome time!  Here are the kiddos...  Janet's daughter, Ella (also), is 2 and is in love with Luke!

Janet sent me the pictures she took and I took some with my phone.  None of the pictures are great quality but it still documents our fun morning!  The boys and Ella were awesome and walked the whole time. I had my stroller but didn't even need it.  Luke kept saying, "ISH!!!" all day long.

We had so much fun.  The kids enjoyed seeing all of the amazing "creatures" as my Ella kept saying and it was super exciting to get out and do something new and exciting!

Helper

It's been two weeks since I've blogged.  My laptop needs some work and I can't download anymore pictures at this time.  I can however share cell phone pictures and videos!

Luke is our helper baby.  He love, love, loves to help at all times!  When Andy mows the lawn, Luke mows behind him with his little mower.  When Andy plants, Luke plants. When I do laundry Luke puts it all in the washer, puts it in the dryer, and delivers it to the kids' rooms.  When I grocery shop, he likes to bring the bags in.  The other day I had to park on the street because we had a tree removed from our front yard.  Luke carried the bags down the sidewalk and up the driveway (he didn't even cut through the yard!).  Love him!
Click here if you're receiving this via email and want to see the video.

*The voice you hear fussing is Gabe, not Luke.  Luke loves helping!
