DISNEY WORLD; Day 3

On Tuesday we decided to visit Animal Kingdom in the afternoon, as we had dinner reservations at The Rainforest Cafe at 5 p.m. We spent the morning sleeping in, eating breakfast at our resort, and going for a walk.
Ella was so tired by this point since she had not had any significant naps and she actually fell asleep in the stroller on our walk. I made the biggest mistake by trying to transfer her to the evil pack 'n play. She woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep. She had only napped for 5 minutes! I am still kicking myself over this.
When we got to Animal Kingdom we saw a bunch of characters at the entrance. We tried, again, to get Ella to like them! Nope.
Lilly and Pluto.
Lilly with Wilderness Mickey!
No clue who this is. Lilly didn't know either.
We didn't know this guy either.
But we know Pooh! I thought Ella might like Pooh! She pointed and smiled from afar but once we were within arm's reach, she panicked.
Mommy showing Ella how nice Pooh is!
Ella, you crack me up!
Eyore!!
Ok, before viewing this picture know this... I love my husband and think he looks good in this shot. I, however, chose not to wear make-up on this day. I never go without make-up! I don't know what was wrong with me. Tired? Back pain? Aching? I don't know but I didn't wear it and now, I'm wishing I was a pro at Photo Shop and could just put a bit on here and there.
No one was at Animal Kingdom! It was really very empty and we walked right into a great great show. We saw a mini version of The Lion King and it was excellent. The girls loved it and in the end Lilly was pulled down to dance with other kids and the cast. The music was phenomenal.

We also took the Animal Kingdom Safari. Lilly and Ella both love animals and we saw many! Our tour guide was sweet and had a great voice. Here are the highlights:

We also caught a parade which Lilly loved. Andy had to pull Ella out of the stroller and step away from the rope because the fuzzy creatures kept trying to hug her!

Waiting on the parade...

Where's Lilly?
I just love this picture. Lilly waving to someone in the parade.
Oh yeah, what a hot looking Momma! Woo hoo! Ack.
Thank goodness we bought this light(er) weight double stroller off of Craig's List before going to Disney. It did come in handy when Ella would sit in it and we both got our exercise pushing it.

Our final stop was for a very yummy dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.
Another wonderful day came to a close. We really had a very stress-free trip. We enjoyed our family time and had a really great time.
