Strength

Gabe
He's sweet, calm, and quiet. He likes to be held. He loves to sleep and can put himself to sleep. He doesn't take a binky. He has a smile that lights up a room. He has gorgeous chocolate brown eyes.

I would prefer to spend my days enjoying Gabe's amazing personality instead of worrying but I have spent some time doing just that in the last two months.
Finally, I feel calm.
I'm at peace that Gabe is perfect and I am enjoying his chill personality.

Gabe's head is a unique shape so we had it head checked out and it is normal. He is physically a bit weaker than his brother and other babies his age. After a few evaluations it was determined that he will receive physical therapy until he has gained some strength; specifically neck and head strength. He goes to therapy on Mondays at CHOP and will soon be receiving some therapy at home through Early Intervention. In the meantime, I spend some time each day doing therapy at home with him. Luke and Ella are my assistants. He's already shown great improvement!

We work each morning while Lilly is in school. Luke (on the left this time) loves to look at his brother and smile.

After Gabe does about thirty minutes of therapy he passes out.
It's exhausting for such a little guy!

Ella is always right there watching her brothers and ultimately doing some PT with her baby dolls. I can't stand it, she's so adorable.

I am anxious for Gabe to catch up physically but know that everything is a process and for now, I'm choosing to enjoy the ride.
