Ok, so I lied. It's still raining out (surprise surprise) and I'm blogging. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
Ella's moving up in the world and experiencing new tastes! Yesterday she had a little banana. She was only able to suck on it through the mesh but hey, that's a start!
Lilly must be growing because her appetite has significantly increased. She ate a whole bowl of pasta, a whole bowl of broccoli, and a (mini) bagel with cream cheese! And I believe she said she was still hungry. This, coming from a child who has said she was hungry maybe a handful of times in her entire life. I love to see her eating!
Ella also had some oatmeal. We've been working on rice cereal and oatmeal because she didn't take to them easily. Lots of gagging and tongue thrusting and a month later she'll take a few bites before the gagging sets in. We're in no rush!
Yes, it's raining again. And watching the weather forecast is totally depressing. It looks like it's supposed to rain until Sunday. That will be something like 9 straight days of rain. As I drove Lilly to dance today I tried to be optimistic and I noticed that it is very green out. The trees and grass are so green and beautiful. If the trees and grass are happy, I guess I'm happy too.
