Yesterday Lilly and Lindsay spent the morning together. Lilly asks about Lindsay all the time. She wakes up in the morning and asks if Lindsay can come over. Yesterday I was out jogging with my girls and Lilly begged to have Lindsay over. We kidnapped her and I took them to the park. But first we stopped home so Lilly could change into the same dress Lindsay had on and I did Lilly's hair the same as Lindsay's.
Then we headed to the park. This pictures sums up their personalities. Lindsay is calm and reserved. Lilly is carefree. I just love Lilly in this picture. It's such a glimpse into how she lives her life... without a care in the world.
I hope they remain friends. Doesn't everyone need a good girlfriend they can talk with in a tunnel? I used to sit big concrete tubes with Lori and chat away recess.
Ella hung out and enjoyed the weather.
Good friends are hard to find. Gotta love Goofy on the right. Lindsay eventually said to me, "I can't hold it anymore!" meaning her smile.
At one point the girls needed a break from one another. Lindsay doesn't think it's fun to be chased and Lilly loveeees to chase. Lindsay can be whiny. Lilly can be aggressive.
A little break and they were good to go on a scavenger hunt.
They found 2 bunnies, 3 birds, and a squirrel.

We had a good time and headed home for a snack and a drink. The girls played at our house for the rest of the morning. It's nice for Lilly to be able to play with kids her age. She learns so much from interacting and playing with Lindsay. In September they're off to preschool together. Now that should be interesting.
