Roses

I'm not sure I've shared my obsession with love of my $3 rose bush that I bought last summer. I was browsing around The Christmas Tree Shop when I spotted this tiny little potted plant with what looked like 2 broken and dead branches sticking out of a pot. I brought it home and Andy planted it and we waited a year.

Then, this summer, a rose bloomed. It bloomed so fast that I just about missed it. When I caught my first glimpse it was wide open and the petals had begun to drop. I thought that would be the only rose that bloomed as it was just one stem coming out of the ground. But much to my liking it is still blooming. The fragrance is out of this world; really. I run outside like it's Christmas morning each and every morning to see what my sweet little bush has to show me.

Isn't it just the loveliest little rose bush you've ever seen?
