It's the calm before the storm. Our lives have drastically slowed down (not that we were moving too quickly in the first place). Lilly's gym class ended. The pool is a ghost town. The neighborhood kids are gearing up for a new school year. We're hanging low at home enjoying the amazing 'fall' weather. I haven't been taking many pictures because it would be the same shots over and over; the girls playing with toys, making Cheerio pictures, doing crafts, taking Jeep rides, trying to keep the house straight, and making many meals. Andy's home earlier every night which I love and am getting way too used to. Life is good. Peaceful. Calm.
Last night I hung out on the deck looking at Jupiter. How cool that we can see Jupiter with our naked eye? Andy was my tripod so I could get a picture - thank you to his back for this shot. (Jupiter is in the lower right hand corner).

Other than that we're just doing the same 'ol same 'ol around here. Ella's eating up a storm, recovering from an ear infection and a cold, learning new sounds every day ("Ba Ba Ba", "Da Da Da", "Ma Ma", "Bu Bu" for "Bye Bye"...), waving, clapping, and coming very very close to walking. She has a delightful personality and is so much fun to be around. She's also become more social. She's not as fearful of strangers and will even allow a couple other moms to hold her! She's a very sweet girl.
Lilly's gearing up for preschool, swimming like a fish, "diving" into the pool (a textbook belly flop), sharing with friends, loving her baby sister, being as witty as ever, loving potty talk, driving that Jeep all over the neighborhood, spending lots of quality time with Daddy, becoming even more independent (she makes her own bowl of cereal, peels her own fruit, makes her own sandwiches, dresses herself daily including picking out the outfit, brushes her own teeth, uses the potty without us even knowing...) and becoming such a big girl.
