Thanksgiving 2010 was a source of angst for me this year. We were on the fence for weeks as to whether or not we thought we could handle it. I lost many nights of sleep worrying about how we would pull off a 5+ hour drive with four children ages 4 and under. It wasn't easy but we survived.
I was glad we were able to see family and spend some quality time together even if it was a short amount of time.
I decided the boys would wear their monogrammed sweaters on Thanksgiving day so I wouldn't have to answer who was who all day. ;) It worked.

Cousin time was awesome. We spent a night with Sherry and Jeff which gave us extra Kate and Elizabeth time (Sherry and Jeff too!) which was really nice.
Brooke and Bailee enjoyed the boys...

So awesome seeing Steph! And let me just say, Stephanie has major baby mojo. She has always had the magic touch and it works with all of my kids. Amazing.
Karen created an awesome documentary of Grandmother's life.
The grandkids and great grandkids watched on.

Lilly asked Papaw to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. He dug around until he found hot dogs. Thank you Papaw!
*I didn't use my camera much at all because I was busy (!) so most of these pictures were taken by other people. I realized when I got home that I don't have any of Sherry's family but know she got many that I will share when she shares.
It was a great time with a lot of family, food, fun and traffic.
Happy Thanksgiving!
