While she was jumping away Ella was chillin' on the ottoman. It was the first time she was calm and peaceful in 24 hours. Not sure what's going on but it's been a rough 2 days! She's very fussy and hungry so I'm assuming it's a growth spurt. Her eyes seem to be very similar to Lilly's eyes at the same age so I'm assuming they will be blue like Lilly's.
Better late than never... around 11 am or so we decided we'd borrow Thomas' truck and go pick up Ella's dresser that came in and get our Christmas tree. We were cutting it close to Lilly's nap time but decided to just let her stay up later. We always go to the same place to get our tree and it's become a tradition to buy the saddest looking tree on the lot. We figure no one else will buy the sad looking trees so we'll give one a home each year! Here's Lilly looking for the perfect tree...
Most of the trees are $45-$50 but the sad trees are cheaper which is a nice perk to our tradition. This one was $25!! The top is missing a few branches but it will look just perfect in our home!
Ella was with us but sound asleep. She missed out on her nighttime sleep so she had to make up for it this morning.
And Andy threw it in the back of the truck and off we went! Can't wait to decorate it later today. Should be even more fun since we bought a train to go around it. I love Christmas!
