Pie

Lilly and I made a chocolate chip cookie pie. A friend sent me the recipe and I had almost all of the ingredients and Lilly loves to bake... a perfect combination.

The funny thing is Lilly is very much like me and she rarely likes/eats the food she bakes. I wasn't sure if she'd like this pie or not but she sure did a great job making it! She even beat the eggs and the rest of the ingredients by herself. This is what it looked like before it went in the oven.
When Lilly woke up from her nap the first words out of her mouth were, "Can I try my pie Mommy?" I had a piece waiting for her...

As you can see...
...she loved it.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

1 unbaked 9 in pie shell
2 large eggs
½ cup flour
½ cup sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 stick butter softened
1 cup chips

Preheat oven to 325.

Beat eggs on high until foamy. Beat in flour and both sugars. Beat in butter. Stir in chips. Spoon into shell.

Bake 55-60 mins. Do knife test until clean (halfway between center and edge).

Eat without guilt.
