**Please forgive this blog entry in advance. I am using Andy's laptop (he has mine) and do not have my Mac or iPhoto. I uploaded pictures on his computer but cannot edit them (not even a crop!) and can hardly see them. But I wanted to blog about my night so here it is...
Last night when Andy came home from work he saw the house... it looked like a tornado went through. I knew it was bad; as bad as it's been in some time. There were things all over the floor, coffee table, etc. He ran in and started moving things on the deck. I said, "What's going on?" and he said, "There are 20 people coming over in 45 minutes." I was shocked. He was setting up for a party and our house looked like a disaster. I ran around like crazy and actually got it all cleaned up by the time our friends arrived. And to clarify... it was 20 people including kids. It was only 3 families that live nearby and I am close enough with them all that I wouldn't have minded my house being a little messy!
Andy had planned the best get together. Unbeknownst to me he had prepared all weekend for this small gathering and he did an amazing job. He made chicken fajitas, burgers, fries, fruit, veggies, and all the fixings. There were drinks and cake as well. And good company.
