Rainy Day Blues

It has rained all day long. I can't even tell you if it's warm or cold out as I haven't even opened the door. We're all still in our pajamas. I'm tired. It's been a long week with Andy gone. So when I asked Lilly what she wanted for lunch and she responded "pancakes" I was more than happy to oblige turning it into a rainy day activity. They were really delicious.

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.

Ella gnawed on a bagel while we ate. That made her very happy.
This is Lilly with her first bagel (at 9 months).
