Pumpkin Patch!

On Sunday after breakfast we all headed to Sprindale Farms for a hayride to the pumpkin patch. Flashback to October 2007 at the farm...
Lilly grew half of a foot and a lot more hair!! It was gorgeous out; very sunny and warm, yet no humidity. The morning was very chilly but by the time we got to the farm it was warming up. I love going to the pumpkin patch!
While we were waiting for the next hayride Lilly looked at the chickens and rabbits, ate an apple cinnamon donut, and hung out with Papa and Nana Kay.
Heading out to the pumpkin patch! Yay!!
Lilly walked all around picking up pumpkins and dropping them if they didn't meet her standards. I learned that pumpkins bounce pretty well. This one didn't make the cut. She was on the lookout for two pumpkins - one for herself and one for her "little shisher."
This one looks like a good one but it was a wee bit heavy.
My favorite picture that Kay took. Just love it.
Family shot getting ready to head back to the market to weigh and pay for our pumpkins! Two little pumpkins for Lilly and her sister.
Today is Papa's birthday so yesterday Lilly made him a cake. She enjoyed using the mixer but most of all enjoyed singing Happy Birthday, blowing out the candles, and eating the cake.
A goofy pair - so cute together and Lilly adores her Papa.
Lilly's favorite part! She loves to blow out the candles. Happy Birthday Papa! Thank you both for coming to visit. We had a wonderful time.
