Time Flies

There hasn't been much excitement in our lives since Monday's art class so I guess I missed a few days of blogging.

Tuesday Lilly and I went to Michael's to buy some supplies for a craft project for Papa's birthday. She decided she wanted to ride in her stroller in the store so I pulled it out and began to open it when my finger was nearly chopped off! All I know is I felt excruciating pain, there was a big indentation in my finger and it was gushing blood (which got all over Lilly's brand new jacket). Thankfully I carry bandaids and kept telling myself I had to be brave and deal with the pain as not to worry Lilly. Got it to stop bleeding and headed inside. When I got home I asked on a website I am frequently on if anyone had experienced this with the Phil & Ted's stroller and indeed they had and informed me there was a recall in August for this reason! 9 people either almost or did have their fingers cut off!!! I went on the manufacturer's website and ordered the safety harness so this won't happen again. There is this warning on the stroller but at 9 months pregnant who is bending down almost to the ground to read it?

Yesterday we met Jordan at the park. It's a huge wooden castle that the kids love to play on. There was no one else there for the majority of our visit and the kids had a great time. Here they are enjoying some cheerios.
More nature at our house! This praying mantis hung out on our slider for two days. We couldn't open the door or he would have gotten squished. Lilly enjoyed tormenting him through the glass (kidding).
Today I had an ob appointment. Lilly of course accompanied me to the office and gave all the nurses and doctors live entertainment. She is so funny. She loved her dress today and told everyone just that. She also told them she was wearing "tights" and pulled her dress up to make sure they could see them top to bottom. I told her to keep her dress down because she is a lady and she said, "I not a lady I Lilly."
All is well with "baby shisher" and hopefully we'll be meeting her in about 5 weeks (3 weeks would be fine with me!). Baby's heartrate is good and she's head down and ready to go. I've had a lot of contractions that could mean something or nothing at all. Hoping Lilly's going to be as excited about baby's arrival as she says she is... It could be very interesting!
