Today Lilly and I headed out early to get Mommy a new driver's license! Just what every woman wants - a new driver's license photo when you're 9 months pregnant! I got a notice that my license is about to expire so I didn't have a choice. I must say, I found a DMV that has the nicest employees ever! And it's quick! They did offer for me to keep my previous picture but I look so very different that I decided to just get a current picture taken; morphed face and all.While we were there I asked one of the workers behind the main counter if I could have a scrap piece of paper for Lilly to draw. She was very sweet and gave Lilly a piece and while I was filling out forms Lilly drew at a table. As I was getting my picture taken I heard, "HEY LADY!!! I WANT A PIECE OF PAPER... PLEASE!" and look over to see tiny Lilly standing beneath this woman's counter (that was very high) shouting up to her for more paper. I was mortified but relieved to hear the "please" at the end. The lady got a kick out of this and handed Lilly another piece of paper. Lilly said, "thank you" and headed back to the table where she was drawing.

When Lilly woke up from her nap we went to watch Stephy play field hockey. Stephy told us to be there by 3:30 but failed to mention her game would start at 4:45! Lilly hung in there playing with some older neighborhood kids and eating snacks. We stayed a little over 2 hours and did get to see Stephy play.


Then we headed to Jackie's house for dinner. A very very yummy dinner of pasta, sausage, bread, and salad. By the time we got home Lilly was exhausted and went straight to bed. I'm pretty tired myself...
