My visit with my sister has come to an end and I'm so sad! But I am not the saddest one... Lilly is devastated. I can't even bring up Stephanie's name or she sobs. It's really sweet but sad. Stephanie left at 5 a.m. and when Lilly woke she was calling, "Aunt Stephanie!" over and over. When I walked in and told her Stephanie had gone home she put her head in her hands and just cried and cried saying, "I want her back! Make her come home!" We called her in the airport and Lilly was able to talk to her. The rest of the day I haven't mentioned her for fear of another meltdown. When Andy got home he asked Lilly what she did all weekend and she started crying again and told him Stephanie left.
Backing up a bit... Here is Stephanie waiting for me outside at the airport. She was freezing!
We enjoyed our visit and she loved holding Ella. She said she already misses her smell.
Steph was so good and decided to teach me how to make two recipes she got from Todd's mom and aunt so that I could freeze them or have them this week. She stayed with the girls while I went to the grocery store to get the ingredients. Together we made one of the recipes. It's a chicken casserole in cream sauce and with stuffing. It's already gone! We ate some after we made it and then I had it for lunch today. After we made dinner (well at the same time actually) we made cookies. And guess what? They're all gone too! Yummy.
After dinner and dessert it started snowing. Lilly went out in the snow with bare legs...
After our weekend together the girls cuddled with their aunt before bedtime.

It was sad to see you go Steph but I'm very appreciative of my sisters' visits and am happy my girls get to see my family even though we're miles apart.

waaaaaaa......all of the family will meet her and she will not even know who I am!! I am driving up there SOON!!! Love you guys and so happy you had a nice visit with your sister.
