Happy New Year!
I know this will leave many of you speechless but I took Lilly (and Ella) to the Children's Discovery Museum today and forgot my camera! I had a few shakes and was a bit breathless watching all of these people take pictures of their kids but I did some positive self-talk and was able to (sort of) get over it. It was really cute. Here are some pictures from the website...
They have a diner, a farmer's market, and a vet.
Here is a grocery store and ABC News and there's so much more.
She had such a fun time that when we got home she ate a few bites of her sandwich and then I told her it was nap time and she got up to go upstairs. She couldn't wait to go to sleep! She's also getting a cold so I'm sure she's feeling run down. Our neighbor told us about free pajama day so they were there also. I really enjoy the mom (Kristen). It was also nice since she has 4 girls and two of her girls wanted to take care of Lilly while we were there - big help to me since I was navigating a stroller through a gazillion kids and parents.
As for Andy - he stayed home to do some Seton Hall work and NOT get on his new obsession - Facebook. He (like myself) has rekindled with so many friends from high school and college. I have to admit, it is very addictive and I have loved getting in touch with sooo many old friends and neighbors. But Andy is getting nuts pulling out old pictures and scanning them and having a hayday with comments from friends. One he came across totally depressed me! This picture was taken almost 8 years ago at a fashion show that our school held as a fundraiser. The teachers were the models and it was a very extravagant event.
I cannot believe 1. that Andy posted this on Facebook and 2. how very much I've changed. And my friend Krissy that is in this picture with me looks the EXACT SAME! "Not fair!" as Lilly would say.
